Transporting Water
We learned about how Sea Water can sometimes rise and flood the land. We had to build something to protect it.
We had to run around a cone and pour the water into a bucket – The challenge was, one of our buckets had a hole in it, so we had to save as much water as we could.
Our team decided to cover the hole with our finger so the water would not spill out. We didn’t want to get wet so we had to take off our shoes and socks as well as our jackets. It was a little chilly but we did it.
Our group worked together and it was a little fun.
When we went back into the hall we then talked about how to save a community from rising sea levels. We built models. Here is ours:
